1. I have been married for 5 years, and have a 2.5-year-old daughter. I used to stay with my husband until a couple of months back. We both were staying in a different city, and it started getting difficult for us, because I was working and it was tough for the daughter. So, when I got a job in my own city, I moved back with my daughter to my mother's house. My mother and daughter were extremely happy with each other, until a couple of weeks back. My daughter has started throwing tantrums. She hardly sleeps at night, and wakes me up and yells in the middle of the night, most of the days. She rolls on the floor if we refuse to let her do something, or decline something. Also, she says she hates my mom, and my mom is very sad about it. My daughter has always been a little stubborn, but now it is getting more and more difficult for us to handle her. She cries most of the time when I am with her. We see to it that she talks to my husband everyday. Also, I always keep exclusive time to be with her every evening. What could be the problem with my daughter? What should be done?

Reply From Dr. Prem Lata Chawla: The past mistakes tend to catch up and cause embarrassment. It is best to avoid circumstances where the past mistakes can cast a shadow on the present or the future. You should have firmly declined to press and rub your 'Bhabhi's' feet now when she has come to stay with you. In fact it was none of your business to do this favour for her right in the beginning.
