'Should I go out with my ex?'
1.
Few years back, I met a very sweet girl with whom I fell in love. At that time she was studying in a University. Circumstances forced me to marry somebody else. Now, I feel that I'm happily married, as my wife understands me and I also do the same. A few months back my former girl friend called me up at my work place and told me that she was now married and not happy. She also said that the reason for calling me was she still loves me. She also said that since we were now in the same position we should start going out. At the moment she is living in another city and is planning to come and visit her parents here. Though I still love my ex, but I am afraid to go out with her since she is now married. But she is insisting and everyday she calls me at least twice. What should I do so that she is not hurt the second time. I am stuck now. I feel trapped as I am afraid this would go too far.

'Can't think of her sleeping with another man'
2.
I was in love with a girl and we wanted to get married. Somehow our plans did not materialise and now she is marrying someone else. Although we did not have any physical relationship, I had sexually desired her and now I cannot think of her sleeping with another man. I feel very depressed having such cheap feelings but somehow can't get over it. The saddest thing is she is a very close family friend and we all live in the same locality and get to see each other daily. I am not in a position to leave the place either. What is the best way to handle this issue?

'I love 'him', but am married'
1.
I am married but was never happy with my husband because I always felt he never cared for me. Though I'm intelligent and educated, my husband never encouraged me for a career. He even ridiculed all my efforts to start a career. He was never romantic and often used to brush away my attempts to show love. I tried to be a dutiful wife and tried to love him. Then something strange happened. I learnt computers against his wishes. Meanwhile, I met another guy and we became best friends. He knew I had dreams of successful career. He understood my feeling. So we started our own business and work which is fairly successful as we both form a good team. Though, initially we were very good friends, graudually we came close and started loving each other. We are still doing business and we still love each other very much but his family and mine are now against us. Business is a thread which binds us in such a way that no one can separate us. Yet now his family forced him to get married. Now I am in a dilemma... I love him very much...yet I don't want to upset his life... yet I also don't want to quit a profitable business.. my husband is of course very angry with me for all this. I don't know what to do..it's not easy to walk away from my friend as we both love each other very much and share a great professional team. But I feel very lonely as I live in another country. I don't know what to do. Please advice me.

Reply From Dr. Prem Lata Chawla:
By falling in love with a friend and business partner, you have proved your husband right. He seems to be well versed in the ways of the world especially man-woman relationships. He used to discourage you from venturing out of the house, working etc. only to prevent the situation you are in now. You were then unhappy sitting at home and you are unhappy now working out, having an identity of your own. You better look within and decide as to what you want. Most working women do not forget their family obligations and balance work with healthy family life. Working women are not out there to ruin the family life of men.

Addicted to porn
2.
Can you tell me how pron movies can affect the health of a man. I am addicted to watching porn movies. I watch these movies all the time when I am free. Please guide me how I can get rid of this habit.

Reply From Dr. Prem Lata Chawla:
Medically speaking porn movies are harmless. They do not have any ill effect on the physical health of the person. Watching porn movies are just like masturbating, a kind of self-stimulation. They are great for wasting time, which could be put to some constructive use for personal growth and development.
