According to the crew, a stunned Mallika suddenly stepped out of her vanity van looking completely dazed. On being asked the reason for her perplexed look, the actress revealed that she had seen a vision of yesteryear actress Madhubala in the van. A unit member said, "Mallika was too stunned to react. She told us that she saw a ghost of Madhubala. It may sound ubelieveable but this happened and there was no logic behind it. It could be Mallika's imagination too because she imagined herself as Madhubala while shooting the spoof of song Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya." Mallika was shooting for the spoof of Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya when this incident occured on the sets of Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam.
