Catch the actor discussing his food routine with Hindustan Times.
What do you do the first thing in the morning? One glass of water between 5 and 5:30 n the morning. After a routine work-out, I take a bowl of curd with a small amount of honey in it. And later I take either idli or vada. Lunch Chicken sandwich, hamburger or just a simple toast with a glass of milk. I also love to have vegetarian food like dal, roti and sabzi. I speacially love to eat stale chapati. Favourite vegetables I absolutely relish eating Baingan ka bharta, Zeera-aalu, Stuffed capsicum, Spinach and Masoor dal. Favourite home made recipe I love to mix various cuisines. Dal-rice, dry mutton and chicken. I have never had tea or coffee since my childhood. Evening snacks Around 5 in the evening, I take a full meal. If I am at a shooting, either burger or idli suffice. If I am at home, I take a dal-rice. Dinner Menu for the dinner depends on where am I. If I am at the shoot, I eat unit-food. It could be a food made by my sister or restaurant food. Favourite desserts I don't take dessert after dinner. But I love to gobble on truffle, rasgulla, gulab jamun, cham cham and mishti dohi. I absolutely cannot resist Begali sweets. Cooking I can make fried tomato, fried eggs and juice. My dad makes a wonderful lakhnavi chicken chaap, Mustard fish, fried cutlets and baingan ka bharta. Favourite fruit Papaya, Banana and Water Melon Ideal romantic meal I would love to have a meal that comprises Mutton curry, Aloo matar, chapati and a frozen daal on a chilly winter evening at a North Indian dhaba.
