A 13-year-old girl Monday alleged that she was kept in confinement and repeatedly raped for over a month by several men.

The girl reported to the police that she was kidnapped a month and a half back while she was going to school near her Anand Parbat house in west Delhi. Her parents had filed with the police a complaint about her missing.

But on Sunday she somehow managed to escape from the clutches of her kidnappers and approached the police. The girl alleged that many men raped her in the confinement.

However, the police claimed that they had rescued the girl from Inder Puri area and arrested three people identified as - Rekha, Shobha and Amarjit in the case.

"The teenaged girl was rescued from a slum cluster in Inder Puri area where she was held captive. Three people, including two women, have been arrested in this regard," said a senior police official.

"We have booked Amarjit on the charges of raping the minor, while charges of wrongful confinement were slapped on three of them. We are further investigating the matter if she was raped by more people," the official added.

In another incident, Delhi Police arrested a school employee for allegedly trying to rape an 11-year-old girl inside the school premises in northwest Delhi Monday evening.

Kamal Singh, 25, who works as an administration officer at B.R. Tyagi Public School in Sector 23 of Budh Vihar area, was arrested on the complaint of the girl.

After the incident, parents and locals of the area gathered and ransacked the property of the school and even tried to set it on fire.

The protestors alleged that the police registered the case after their protest.
