A room, not so prim 'n' propah. An ipod screaming 'I like the bartender' and a lady in a red hot number - Meet Diana Hayden, who set the ramp on fire a decade ago by representing India at the 1997 Miss World pageant. "It's been 10 years, already!" she says. I ask her why are India is not bagging the crown anymore. "Because we're greedy. We've got so arrogant that we're expecting it," comes a rather unexpected reply. Taking it easy 34 and single, she's in no hurry to find her Mr Right. "With TV shows, anchoring, travelling and charity work, where's the time to settle?" "Plus, I haven't found anybody who can deal with who I am. I'm not asking for too much, but it's still a lot." So, who is her kind of man? "Someone who's faithful, honest, single, ambitious and generous. I haven't come across any such person. Height, weight, age is no criteria. You still think I'm asking for too much? I don't think so." Comeback Since the last 10 days, she's busy doing what she loves most - travelling. I have been to Jaipur, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Delhi and a couple of more destinations already," she says. So, any plans to return to the silver screen? "Only if I get a project that makes me think, "Diana if you don't do it, you'll regret it forever."
