Tanushree Dutta sticks to her decision not to expose in films and is now trying her hands at action in upcoming film Speed. The actress speaks to HTTabloid.
Like your character in Priyadarshan's Dhol, can you handle four lovers in real life?
No. Of course, I can’t handle four lovers in real life. It will really become a headache for me. I don’t want a lot of people running after me. I am a very simple girl with a good family background. I have done some mistakes in the beginning of my career but it doesn’t mean that people flirt with me. I am not this kind of girl. How was the experience of handling four lovers in the film Dhol?
In reel life it’s altogether a different story. I enjoyed the fact that four actors – Tusshar, Sharman, Rajpal and Kunal – trying to impress me and get married to me because I am a rich girl. All four think that this is the best way to become rich. What if you find you that a person is trying to get married to you for the sake of money in real life?
I will never marry a person who will be after me just because I am economically sound and belong to a good family. I will marry a person who will love me not my money. Do you still stick to your decision not to expose in films?
Yes. Certainly. My family background doesn’t allow me in lip-locking sort of appearances. I still feel embarrassed about some of my past roles. But everyone commits mistakes in the beginning of career. I have learnt a lesson from it. Is it true that you take a lot of risk while doing stunts in the film?
In one of my forthcoming films, Speed I have done that. I have taken a lot of risk, which even my fans will be surprised to see. In fact director Priyadarshanji has a condition that I have to come on the set of the film riding a bike. I rode the bike in full speed and reached at the set. Everyone was really surprised.
